I'm a romantic, I've always been. But I'm also a tireless observer. I'm moved by photography that not only looks beautiful, but can be felt. Since I was little, I've known that photography is my way of telling stories. When I was 17, I got my first SLR camera; at 19, I went to Granada to study photography and spent four years learning to look.
Today, at 32, I know that destiny brought me exactly where I was meant to be: telling love stories with my camera.
I was crystal clear about it. Or at least I thought so. At 19, with my first camera in my hands and many ideas in my head, I thought art was in galleries, in the great images that would change history. Like those of Henri Cartier-Bresson or Annie Leibovitz. How naive I was. I didn't know that the most important stories don't hang in museums, but are kept in family albums and gazed at with eyes full of emotion.
And, as often happens, life, which is much smarter than I, had other plans waiting for me to discover them.
The first time I went to a wedding...
