A "I do" with history at the Pilas Bonas Castle

Some weddings are pure emotion, others are a wild party. Javier and Patricia's was both. In a magical setting like Pilas Bonas Castle in Manzanares, this couple experienced one of the most special days of their lives, surrounded by their loved ones, laughter, and tears of joy.

From early morning, the two got ready in different rooms of the castle, surrounded by their families.

The bench they sat on to say "I do" was priceless: it had belonged to Javi's grandparents. A detail that made the moment even more special. The space, adorned with stunning floral decorations from Las Jaras, looked like something out of a fairy tale. Sunshine, knowing glances, the occasional tear that couldn't be held back, and plenty of applause marked the ceremony.

I know Pilas Bonas Castle like the back of my hand. Knowing it so well allowed me to make the most of every nook and cranny, and it's part of my work as a wedding photographer in Ciudad Real.

For the couple's session, I took them to spots with spectacular lighting: stone arches, historic walls, and dreamy windows where the filtered light gave us unforgettable images.

After lunch, the couple started dancing in the castle courtyard, enveloped in the joy of their loved ones. The music, the warm light of the sunset, and the desire to celebrate turned the place into a true party that continued inside the castle well into the night.
